About Rebecca Cornelius

Rebecca Cornelius, BFA, MEd, is a secondary education teacher in the Visual Arts Department at The Academy of the Holy Cross and a photography/digital art instructor for Bullis Summer Programs. Rebecca completed the Teaching Artist Institute training from Young Audiences of Maryland in 2010 and is in her 7th year as an artist in residence for Maryland State Arts Council and Artivate. Certifications through the Maryland Department of Education include Early Childhood, Art, Dance, Theater, and Health. Rebecca has taught undergraduate courses at University of Hartford and has been a presenter for both National Dance Educators Organization (NDEO) and Maryland Dance Education Association (MDEA) conferences. She specializes in arts integration, photography, visual arts, theater design, and dance curriculum. Rebecca has over 25 years of experience in arts education and professional development for teachers throughout Connecticut, Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
